Rules
All exhibitors in Local Classes must reside within Nantmel Community ( Pony Classes, see Rule 12)
All animals must be free of disease; “Biosecurity” Rules MUST apply.
All Sheep must be dipped in accordance with Ministry Regulation.
All Stock to be on the field by 11a.m. prompt
All Stock must be the property of the exhibitor for three months prior to the show
The Committee will not be responsible for any accidents or loss to any person or animals that may occur during or because of the show
All Perpetual Cups and Challenge Trophies must be signed for and returned in good condition by 1st September. From 2020 the Show Committee no longer engraves trophies, therefore if you wish, you may put your own name on the cup. Cups must NOT be cleaned with Brasso but ONLY cleaned with SILVO, or left uncleaned.
All entries in Pony Classes will be taken on the field
Should there be no more than three competitors in any one competition, 2nd and 3rd prizes may be withheld at the judges discretion
The Judges decision is final
Child’s age in all classes to be that on the day of the Show. Home address must be displayed on the back of the entry. Only one entry per class.
All exhibitors in Pony Classes 35 to reside within 5 mile radius of the show ground.
MAEDI VISNA SECTION
a. All sheep exhibited in this section MUST be accompanied by a SAC Certificate
b. Scheme Sheep must be loaded and unloaded at the point specified
c. A 2 Metre Space must be maintained at all times between Scheme Sheep and all other Sheep.
d. Scheme Sheep must not be transported in the same vehicle as non-scheme sheep
Competitors must be the sole winner for the requisite number of years in order to claim a cup outright
All entries MUST be in before 12 noon, judging commences at 12 noon PROMPT. Any late entries will NOT be accepted.
